![]() >I have seen many horrible reviews regarding this company, the only way to stop them is if everyone reports! Please do this as others in future are still in danger.<<< I'm not saying that it was, but it does seem premature to say with certaintly that it was this Jeet that you spoke to who tried to use your card fraudulently.Įven if you had never, ever used your card for anything else, there could have been a security breach at the card provider, for example. The compromise of your card may have been a complete coincidence. Unfortunately there are some who are not so much after reading reviews on Trip Advisor and TrustPilot. If the airline, hotel and transfer company are able to confirm your booking, then you are one of the lucky ones like I was. (these are most likely abroad, so buy an international calling card from a corner shop)Ħ. Ask them to send you the booking vouchers for Flight, hotel and transfer Ask them to resend you the booking confirmationĢ. My advice if you are caught up with Teletext Holidays:ġ. New owners are:ģrd Floor, Royal House, 5 Vine Street, Uxbridge, England, UB8 1BP Turns out the trading name Teletext Holidays had changed ownership 4 years ago (and is probably the reason why they are awful nowadays). but failed to do so due to my good past experience with them. I normally do my research on a company etc. ![]() Unfortunately, I had used this website 6 years ago and the holiday went brilliant so I thought why not use it again. They have a website, a parent company registered here in the UK (see below) and have their call centre in India with agents that are out of the UK jurisdiction. This company does not have the security in place to be trading. I have seen many horrible reviews regarding this company, the only way to stop them is if everyone reports! Please do this as others in future are still in danger. I advise anyone having fraudulent issues with Teletext holidays to do so also: Nevertheless I have filed a report with Action Fraud with regards to Teletext Holiday and Jeet. It seems that Jeet who had taken down my card details, had booked my holiday, but then decided to use my card details to pay for services online seeing as he is somewhere in India and will most likely never be prosecuted for this. I wasn't satisfied with this and so I proceeded to contact the airline, the hotel and shuttle transfer company, thankfully all this had been booked as they all had my details and relevant booking reference seeing as the transaction had taken place, I decided to call teletext holiday to confirm everything (surprisingly the booking ref number had changed but everything was fine) however the teletext holiday charge that came up in the bank statement seemed legitimate, so TSB did nothing with this one thankfully, TSB were quick to spot it and contacted me, they refunded the fraudulent transactions and blocked any still in process and are now investigating behold, a day later apart from the booking cost related to the holiday, there were multiple transactions coming through which I did not recognise he then asked if I was comfortable with me providing the card details, so I did assuming there is no way this guy will have the nerve to commit fraud I did so, but he said nothing was coming through after receiving a booking quote with the cost breakdown and all the correct dates etc.,when it came to payment, "Jeet" said that I should input the card details through my telephone keypad the price was not as originally stated (about £100 per person more) I proceed to enquire about a holiday, so I call the number provided and quote the reference I look at holidays on the website Saturday 9 September 2017
